Since I get to know a lot about the couples and families I officiate for I think it's only fair that you get to know at least a little about me.
I am originally from Brooklyn, New York and I still have a bit of an accent, or maybe more than a bit. You can tell me when we meet. I've had many, many wedding guests come up to me after a ceremony and try to guess where I'm from. I suppose I sound a little different and no one can really put their finger on it. It's a fun game!
I have lived in Pennsylvania for 8.5 years, I'm happily married to my husband Peter (The Photo Booth Guy!), we have 3 children...and 3 dogs...and a rabbit...and a turtle and have recently added 3 guinea pigs!
I attended The New Seminary for Interfaith Studies (in NYC), and was Ordained by The Interfaith Temple (in NYC) where I remain an Associate Minister. I also hold an Ordination from the Church of Humanism. I am a member of the World Alliance of Interfaith Clergy and the Order of Universal Interfaith and aside from Susquehanna Ceremonies I lead an Interfaith Ministry for families with children called Interfaith Garden. Interfaith Garden focuses on teaching children and their parents about the similarities of various religions in order to forge a feeling of connectedness to all. Most recently I created and began teaching Meditation and Affirmation Classes for Children with Special Needs and Their Families. Also, I teach an elective to Seminary Students in NYC about Children and the Interfaith Way and I am the Author of The Brightest Town...an Interfaith Holiday Story which can be purchased on Amazon.com!
